Near the bottom under the tab "Scheduled Tasks" you will see a list of backup tasks, make sure that the status near the end under "Last Result" (The words "Last Result" might be truncated) shows "Completed". If their is nothing in that space, or there is an error then there is something wrong with the backup tasks, or the media in which it is trying to backup to. ATI2010-TasksStatus

Red indicators at the top in the calendar area will give you a hint if a backup task is failing on a specific day. To check on a backup failing, click on the day you want to view in the calendar area and then click on the "Log" tab to bring the log entries for that day. A list of tasks with entries will appear. This is where you can see what the problem might be. The log entries are listed at the bottom, click on the plus symbol near the task that resulted in a error will give you some indicators what might be the problem. You will need to scroll though the entire list to see where the problem occurred.
