Internet Explorer hangs when tabbing / moving between form fields in a web form, the hang can usually lasting up to 5 minutes. This behavior can also cause Java Applets to with form fields to load slower than usual. Also Launching Outlook Express takes longer than it should.
FIX:
Clear Forms and Passwords Information in the AutoComplete History
To clear forms and passwords information in the AutoComplete settings in Internet Explorer:
1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
3. On the Content tab, click AutoComplete.
4. Click Clear Forms, click Clear Passwords, and then click OK.
Export and Delete the ProtectedStorage Value

1. Export and then delete the ProtectedStorage key from the following:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services
2. Click Start, point to Programs, and then click MS-DOS Prompt.
3. Type the following command:
Windows 98
c:\windows\system\pstores.exe -install
This command replaces the correct ProtectedStorage registry key.
4. Quit all programs and restart the computer.
Windows 2000/XP
Replace pstorec.dll with a clean copy. Replace the pstore registry key with a clean copy from another machine.
