Outlook Express: Compacting Folders : Folder in use error

Printer-friendly versionIf you receive a message while compacting that the folder is currently in use, you might need to take Outlook Express off line to discontinue getting error messages. Usually Outlook Express is set to check mail ever so often and that can cause issues during the compacting process.
