Such as formating a disk to perform a backup, or booting up and configuring a workstation to perform a test of a hardware device. - Free of Charge.Bench Idle TimeSometimes customers have a hard time understanding why repairs can take so long. You wil notice that The Bench Idle time is at 48%. This is the amount of time I am waiting for the computer to complete an operation in response to to a diagnostic or repair operation I did. Half of my time goes to waiting for the computer (which really means that I move onto another computer that is not in Bench Idle Status) to complete whatever it is doing so I can go onto the next repair or diagnostic task. - Free of ChargeBusiness OperationsThe amount of time I am using to take calls from customers who's equipment I am servicing and the amount of time i use to maintain tracking information on the servicing of equipment. - Part of this time is added to the Diagnostic, Repair or Consultation billable time.This time also involes any marketing or sales work I am doing in a given week. - No Charge to CustomerBench RepairThe amount of time I am actually working on a diagnostic, repair or consultation problem. - Charged to billable time.
